Hello All! Today I'm going to talk to you about Teresa.
When Teresa was in high school, she was in the CEO program and worked for Mr. Larry Hampton, CPA, which just so happened to have done SMF’s books. Right after she finished high school, she got a call from Larry asking if she wanted to go interview for the receptionist position at SMF & Machine Tools Inc.. That was in August of 1986!
She now has the title of Operations Manager. If you've ever ordered parts from us, you most likely have spoken with her.
When Teresa's not here in the office, she is most likely found "love’n" on her sweet grandbabies! She also loves to play Texas Hold’Em, along with her husband Rusty, (who will be introduced in a later posting), and she enjoys and is really good at upcycling items. She has such a creative spirit!
I asked her what her favorite quote was & this was her response, "There are only two options: make progress or make excuses."
You also might be interested to know that she someday dreams of owning her own restaurant, as well as owning a nonprofit for single mother scholarships and cancer research. All of which are great goals!
